1. Eligibility

Full membership: Professionally educated and trained individuals within the field of communication sciences and disorders or any areas that are closely related to the field of communication sciences and disorders.
Student membership: Students enrolled as an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral students in an accredited college or university degree program majoring in communication sciences and disorders or any related areas.

  2. Free access to the Folia Phoniatrica et logopaedia Journal
  3. Reduced fees to attend the APSSLH and International Association of Communication
    Disorders (IALP)’s conferences and scientific events.
  4. Opportunity to present your work at the APSSLH’s scientific events such as Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
  5. Opportunity to build a network and collaborate with researchers, practitioners, and students in Asia and Pacific countries including the US.
  6. Opportunity to serve as an Officer and a Committee member of the APSSLH (Full membership only).

3. Membership Payment Methods

Membership fee can be paid using PayPal or a Credit Card (For members from all countries)
Membership fee may be wire-transferred to the APSSLH Bank (For Korean members only)

4. Member account, password, and security

When registering to become a member of the APSSLH on the website (www.apsslh.net), you may be asked to provide certain personal information. The user must provide information that is true, accurate, and complete as it is prompted by the registration form. We collect this information for the following purposes.
• to verify identity
• open and manage the member’s account
• to collect and process membership fees
Member’s information may be used by the website manager or the Executive Committee and the Media/Communication Committee of the APSSLH for management purposes.
The APSSLH is committed to ensuring the security of members’ personal information in order to protect it from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal, or similar risks.

5. Membership Period

APSSLH Membership period is from January to December each year.  Membership renew should be made by January 31 each year.
